Casino Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily operations of the casino table games including training and mentoring of casino staff
- Must have expert knowledge of all casino games offered in the casino
- Expert knowledge of advantage and cheating at play at casino table games
- Approves and acknowledges money/color changes
- Coaches others for increased effectiveness
- Provides information on rules and procedures of games to guests and associates
- Provides assistance and expertise when dealing with concerns or disputes between customers and the game/house
- Monitors time to coordinate breaks and associate movements
- Provides information on suspicious table activity to the casino shift manager and or the surveillance team
- Ensures the guest is being provided with superior customer service
- Keeps up-to-date on mechanics of slot department associate satisfaction
- Ensures slots are in compliance with AGLC
- Maintains working relationship with the AGLC
- Identifies and reports counterfeit currency
Requirements
- 4-5 yrs experience in the casino industry
- Minimum 1-2 years demonstrated experience
- Able to work in high-stress environment
- Experience with table games, rules and procedures
- Experience in customer service and leadership
- Has an ALGC gaming worker license
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be able to work shift work
A structured casino supervisor role is critical to the success of the Eagle River Casino & Travel Plaza. The primary purpose of the casino supervisor is to manage and lead all details of slot and table games in day-to-day operations.
