Housekeeper
Responsibilities
- Maintains the cleanliness of the entire casino premises to a very high standard
- Cleans the entire casino (indoors)
- Steam cleans all carpets (each quarter)
- Dusts high places (chandeliers, animal mounts and ledges)
- Every day – cleans all washrooms, cleans toilets, cleans toilet stalls, cleans sanitary napkin trash cans, cleans sinks, cleans mirrors and replenishes toilet paper, paper towel and soap
- Cleans casino equipment (ATM machines, kiosk machines, monitors, etc.)
- Strips and waxes assigned floors
- Orders supplies as needed
- Inspects public areas to ensure Eagle River Casino & Travel Plaza highest standards are maintained and adhered to
- Maintains supplies inventory and contributes to the economical operation of the company through effective and timely control/acquisition of supplies and equipment for the department
- Performs other tasks assigned
- Repetitive tasks
- Minimal security tasks
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred (but not necessary)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to stand/walk for 8 hours/day
- Able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in a smoking environment
- The schedule for this position may vary and would require shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays as a majority of the cleaning is done after we are closed (3:00 AM – 10:00 AM)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work as a team

- Must be able to obtain an AGLC license
