Love the outdoors? Then Carson Pegasus park is for you.
Located just North of Whitecourt, here you’ll be able to enjoy stunning views and experience a feeling of peaceful serenity.
Come out and take advantage of the day-use areas in the park by enjoying a picnic in the sun or even bring your glove and play some catch!
You can choose from 182 tree-lined sites to park your RV or pitch your tent. Or, if you are looking for a more secluded setting, hike the shoreline and set up your tent in one of the 12 gorgeous walk-in areas located at the point of the peninsula.
3. Rotary Park
Bring your kids out to Rotary Park to enjoy an afternoon of family fun in the sun!
Things to do here include:
- Whitecourt River Slides: man-made creeks with a series of pools and drops, perfect for riding a tube down.
- Fishing: May to October, cast your line and catch some fish at Rotary Park.
- Off Leash Dog Park: let your furry friend roam free in the off leash dog park located in the Northeast corner of Rotary park.
- Rotary Splash Park: bring your kids out to play in one of the many interactive areas located in the splash park.
